What is Story Improvisation?

by nwadmin. Average Reading Time: less than a minute.

As we don’t live in a world of constant exposition (which might drive us mad), we have our abundant imaginations to fill in the blanks. With the evolution of sites like Pinterest and amazing photography tools and apps, combined with my passion for the visual world, I’ve added a blog category for making up stories.  I will stage photos and other visual media and practice the stories I make up anyway…but, out loud.

Imagination practice is super important in a writers life. Imagination is our tool and instrument. And like learning to cook or play an instrument, getting happy and fluent with it takes practice. At least it does in my imperfect world.
